Exceptional work and value

We had an old flat section of roof on our home that had leaked for some time. I saw Shon's work on my nextdoor neighbor's house and was impressed.
Our neighbor highly recommended him so we got a quote which was very reasonable. The team was great, repaired all bad wood, and trimmed all to perfection.

Shon and team, although very busy post the storm, gave an estimate that I felt was fair.
He had to bring in an air conditioning counterpart because of a flawed system on MY part.
They assessed it, got it into code, fixed the roof on time within our agreed upon timeframe.
They cleaned up the mess and all is good.

On time, on budget, hassle free, high quality roofing job.
Shon Bosell was recommended to us by friends of friends. We have a small craftsman style bungalow of about 1,100 sq ft plus a free standing garage in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our estimator Bill came out within a day or two and provided a quick explanation of what was included, what to expect, timing and the rest. We gave the verbal go ahead and received the formal quote via email later that day. The job took two days where the crew of 6-8 people arrived at 8:00 and wrapped up at 3:30. The quote included removal and discard of old roofing material, new flashing and drip edges, a thick water shedding membrane underlayment (vastly superior to tar paper) and a high quality dimensional shingle, cleanup, and they pulled the permits and scheduled the inspections. There was a $200 allotment for any necessary wood sheathing/deck replacement material. Our roof needed an additional $47 in wood work which was the only variance from the quote. The roof looks great, the job was completed quickly, the cleanup was exceptional. There were no boom boxes blaring, foul language or other unwanted behavior. There is a warranty on materials that is transferable (one time), and 10 years labor warranty from Shon Boswell. This job was completed without a single issue, which is noteworthy, and as painless as it gets. Two thumbs up.

New Roof, Excellant quality workmanship!
From the estimate to the completed job Shon Boswell Roofing is a First class Professional business! Shon and Bill rearranged there work schedule, so we could have the roof project postponed until after the Christmas holiday's when my two kids would be back in school. There crew of six where very professional and very clean working. Being careful about keeping shingles and nails from falling off the roof. Too the point that one of the crew dropped a couple of nails that missed the dump trailer in the drive way. He came off the roof to find the nails and picked them both up. They also removed a chimney that was no longer needed and was causing a water leak and repaired the roof deck in very short order and at a fantastic price point. The job was completed on time (two days) and at the estimated price. Completion date 1/3/2017.

Great price, excellent and professional work
From estimate to the completed job, this was a first rate experience. I had three other estimates, none of them except your company even "walked the roof" as your estimate did. One of the companies gave me a low ball estimate,tgn tried to double the price before I signed their contract. Your company completed the roof at the price that was quoted. Your workers were friendly but professional, worked hard and took only a short break good lunch, finishing up in 1 1/2 days. All debris was removed and I am yet to find a single nail!

Friendly quality professional work
These guys were top-notch gave me a great quote very affordable. Notice my roof leak during a June storm. Got three quotes but when Boswell Roofing came over I was extremely impressed. They were very thorough with what they were going to do and their price was right on target. I felt as though other roofers were over charging me due to the urgency of having a storm, which I understand. All staff members working on my roof were extremely thoughtful regarding clean up. Shon Boswell Roofing did a fantastic job. They came with a good staff of 6 so they could demo'd quickly and rebuild quickly. They were very polite, clean, & professional. The work was very well orchestrated so there was no standing around or wasted time or effort, and they didn't try to sell me extra stuff or replace things that didn't need replacing (ethical). They did an excellent job of cleaning afterwards. They even gave advise on long term maintenance so I expect this roof to last my lifetime. We got several estimates. Shon Boswell was not the most expensive or the cheapest, and we thought the price was fair. We chose Boswell because of the presentation from Bill, the sales rep. He convinced us that we would get the best quality from Boswell. I was in a time crunch with my mortgage refinance company and Boswell got the job done in my timeframe. The crew worked hard and got the job done in a day and a half and did a great job. The roof looks great and after the first very big rainstorm, we had no signs of any problems. Thank you!!

My roof was in terrible shape needing lots of wood work, and leaking. They came out tore off the old roof replaced all the bad wood and laid all the shingles in one day! Extremely satisfied with the roof and all phases of my experience with Shon Boswell Roofing. Definitely a notch above all their competion. The TPO roof they recommended is exactly what i needed for my home in St. Petersburg FL. I have an older house with no attic. This roof provided insulation and reflection from the heat and sun in Florida. The appearance of the roof is excellent and you can not tell it is a TPO roof. My air conditioning works half as much as it did before. This roof will pay for itself in no time. Craftsmanship and quality are excellent.

Great work on my florida room rook
My only negative was the time issues and communication. It took almost 5 weeks for them to complete my job but the rain was a huge issue and they never called to let me know when they would be out or what was going on. When the work was done, it was fantastic. I am probably going to have them do my entire roof when it needs replaced.

He was professional from the quote to the completion of the project. He pulled a permit and had the job inspected by the local authority having jurisdiction. Shon Boswell Contracting rated excellent
Shon Boswell Contracting did an excellent installing our new roof. We had a bad leak and Shon explained why it had occurred and too the steps necessary to assure it would not happen again. He also presented an option to provide better drainage from the flat section.
The crew was in and out in 2 1/2 days as scheduled. They conducted themselves in a professional manner and did a fine job with the cleanup after the job. I would consider the pricing as very competitive and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have used Shon Boswell for 2 roofing jobs in the last few years and we were very pleased with his service on both jobs. He installed a metal roof on our home and a shingle roof on a rental property. Shon provided us with a fair quote for the work to be done on both accounts. Worth waiting for. . .
I interviewed about six other roofers before selecting Shon. He and his crew did an excellent job of stripping off my three layers of tar paper (unknown situation). They fixed my intersection with a TPO flat roof.
I also had a wonderful solar light installed, which brings natural sunlight into my living room. Unlike most of the others, Shon was able to position a reasonably-sized container and did not require some humongous vehicle to tramp into my yard.
Shon is easy to talk to and kept me apprised of progress and inspection. He knows what he's doing and his crew did an exceptional job of cleaning the debris from bushes and trees around my house.

Prompt and efficient
H had a roof replaced by Shon Boswell Contracting Services, Inc. several months ago. Mr. Boswell personally met with me. I explained the urgency of the situation and that I would be out of town while the work was being performed. Shon assured me that he would be able to comply in a timely manner. I was surprised that he completed the project as promised. His bid was the lowest of the 3 bids I had obtained. I highly recommend this company.

Great Job at a Great Price
I got several quotes before choosing Shon Boswell Contracting Services, LLC. Not only was his company's quote the most reasonable, his representative was the most professional and courteous out of all the associates I dealt with. The crew was very efficient, finished the job in one day, and cleaned up very well before they left. I am very pleased with my lovely new roof and have been recommending Shon's company.

Fantastic roofer. Reliable. Trustworthy.
I've used Shon for new roof installation for three homes now. Each time, I obtained 2-3 other estimates from a variety of roofing companies and came back to Shon. Comparing apples to apples, Shon consistently provides the best value. He takes the time to patiently explain everything to my satisfaction and answer my questions. His team is courteous and dependable. They don't leave daily messes and they do a great job at cleaning up after the work is done. I would highly recommend Shon and his team to anyone, and I will use him again without hesitation when I need a new roof or repairs on my existing properties

Replacement of Roof
Shon Boswell not only had the better pricing but perfromed the job in a very timely manner. Their crew was very professional. Each day the sitte was cleaned. They took time to replace not only the shingle but roof boards and beams. City inspectors were also very impressed with the quality of work performed. I ahve and will continue to recommend Shon Boswell to friends and neighbors

Roof is fixed
Sales Rep arrived on time and provided accurate estimate. Workers did a good job and cleaned work area pretty good. I only found a few roofing nails left in the yard. Everyone from the company I talked with was very polite.
The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because Sales person said they would use brown trim to match the brown trim on the rest of the house.
When I got home from work the 1st day of the job, most of the roofing job was completed (but with white trim). I alerted the Sales Rep of the error. The job was too far along to replace the white trim with the brown trim (as mentioned when we agreed to hire them for the roofing job).
Sales Rep said the brown trim was not written on the signed contract and he did not recall his communication to me about using brown trim so it would match the brown trim on the rest of the house. I understood the job was too far along and it was too late to correct the error. I would have preferred if he admitted to his mistake. I ended up having to hire a painter to paint the old trim white to match the new trim. They should have offered to paint the old trim white or deduct $$100 from my $7,000 bill.
If you hire this contractor, be sure to write on your contract anything the Sales Rep offers before signing. Other than that they did a good job and provided an accurate estimate of costs.

Sales rep Bill was great. Highly knowledgeable, followed up with me, address my concerns, negotiated to alternative agreed solution. Shon stopped by as well to check on the work, nice friendly approachable personality. This company was one of 4 estimates, I got. Felt they were the most personable and high in integrity.

I would call Shon first for any contracting needs.
I hired Shon Boswell to put a metal roof on my house in St. Pete Beach. I live out of state and it was a little nerve wracking to have such a big job done without being there to see the progress.
Shon and his crew did a beautiful job. It was done on the schedule that Shon proposed and the way he described. I had a concern and Shon came back immediately to check it out.
I would use Shon anytime I need a contractor. I think he is honest, knowledgeable and reliable. Also, I feel that I received a fair price for my roofing project.
I have recommended Shon to my neighbors.
